Just another Sunday Lunch
We found out that our friends, George and Jules have been holding out on us (and on Ed and Carol too) about a small restaurant in the country between where George and Jules live and where we live. Poggio in San Pancrazio. George and Jules have been going there for years but have never bothered to share it with anyone.
We arranged to meet there for lunch on Sunday, joining Ed and Carol also. Well it was not a quiet Sunday at the restaurant. There was a wedding reception for 150 people going on.
Hence the many grilling little birds.
Pastas are very good here so I had the ravioli filled with sheep’s cheese in a light sauce with pears.
Our friend Carol with a plate of pasta with porcini.
It was a very nice lunch but now the four of us (Ed, Carol, Ben and I) are wondering what other restaurants that George and Jules know about that they aren’t telling us.
