I couldn’t make it through winter without….
our wonderful stuffa (pellet stove). We had to have the stuffa guys come and service it, but now that it has been adjusted it is running like a top. Reliable, quiet and puts out just enough heat. Enough heat as long as I have on…
my cashmere knee socks. They really are a must for here in the winter. The way that heating systems are here, there is no heat near the floor. These make all the difference. I buy a new pair each year when Esselunga puts them on sale. They are a good thing.
And the full length heating pads that are on our bed. (like an electric blanket except it is underneath not on top) We turn the pads on, about 30 to 45 minutes before we get in bed. It is one of those moments that every night I look forward to it.
I guess it has taken me a while to learn that a few simple things can make all the difference.
