The estate that we live on has a number of lemon trees in pots that live inside during the winter and then venture out for spring, summer and fall. Big pots. So big that a fork lift is needed to move them. So many of them that it takes most of the day to get this done. The trees had not been pruned for a while so they were very full of fruit. Our neighbor Ida and I were gifted some of the fruit.
They are just so pretty that I like having them sitting out. Also juicy. I might make some lemon curd and then make lemon meringue pies later.
